Frequently asked questions

How do I restore a purchase?

Open the app → Settings → Restore Purchases. Your unlocks and subscription are tied to your Apple ID and will come right back.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions, then choose Kitt Flashcards or Kitt Vocabulary to change or cancel.

Is my data backed up or synced?

Everything lives locally on your device. There’s no account and nothing to sign into. Deleting the app removes its data.

Do the apps work offline?

Yes. Studying, decks, word lists, and widgets all work without a connection. (Optional AI generation is the only feature that needs the internet.)

Kitt Flashcards and Kitt Vocabulary are designed to be private by default.

• We don’t collect your data. The apps have no accounts and no analytics or tracking SDKs. Your decks, cards, word lists, favorites, and study history stay on your device.
• No third-party tracking. We don’t sell or share personal information, because we don’t collect it.
• Purchases. In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details; Apple provides us only anonymous purchase status so the app can unlock features.
• Optional AI features. If you use an optional “generate” feature, the text you choose to send is transmitted to our processing endpoint solely to create your cards or word list, and is not stored or used for any other purpose.
• Children. The apps are rated 4+ and do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
